Data Deletion Instructions

Use this request path to ask Postlyra to locate and delete account data under its control.

Last updated: July 29, 2026

On this page

  1. Send your request
  2. Identity verification
  3. What Postlyra deletes
  4. Data held by Meta, Instagram, or other third parties
  5. Confirmation and help

Send your request

Email hello@postlyra.com from the address associated with your Postlyra account. Include only your account email and, if you connected Instagram, the connected Instagram handle. Do not send a password, access token, or identity document in your first email.

Identity verification

We will reply with the steps needed to verify that you control the account. The verification method depends on the account and request. We will not delete account data until we can reasonably match and verify the requester.

What Postlyra deletes

After verification, Postlyra will identify and delete or de-identify account and workspace data in its control as applicable, including connected-account records and social data copied into Postlyra for publishing, metrics, inbox, contacts, or automation history.

The current in-product account workflow starts a 30-day grace period before its scheduled cleanup deletes the core account and workspace database relationships covered by that command. Operational events and stored media objects may require separate handling as part of a verified privacy request. We will explain the applicable scope and timing when we verify the request.

Data held by Meta, Instagram, or other third parties

Deleting Postlyra data does not delete posts, messages, comments, profile information, or other copies retained independently by Meta or Instagram or by another connected service. Use that provider’s account and privacy controls to manage data it controls.

Disconnecting an account marks the connection inactive in Postlyra. To revoke Postlyra’s platform permissions, use the provider’s account settings. Neither action reverses platform activity already completed at your direction.

Confirmation and help

We will reply by email about the request and any action needed from you. If you cannot access the account email, contact hello@postlyra.com and explain that access issue without sending sensitive credentials.
